Golden Hammer Award

Cedar Falls High School Tiger Football

This award recognizes Defensive Players. It is a computation of weighted points. The player with the most points at season's end is awarded the GOLDEN HAMMER--the outstanding defensive player. He is recognized at the banquet, has his picture taken and published, and that picture is displayed in the SCOTT EADES trophy case in front of the gym. The trophy case was donated to the Tigers by Scott’s parents—Dick and Ann Eades in memory of their son Scott, a former Tiger Linebacker.
